Delayed Deposit Services (Payday Lenders) Forms

2017 Supplemental Annual Report

On April 19, 2018, Governor Pete Ricketts approved Legislative Bill 194 (“LB 194”) passed by the Unicameral on April 18, 2018.  LB 194 enacts certain changes to the Delayed Deposit Services Licensing Act, including changes to the reporting requirements for licensees and for the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance (“Department”).  Those changes are now set forth in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 45-931 which became effective July 19, 2018.

In order to comply with these mandated reporting requirements, the Department has issued the Delayed Deposit Services Licensee 2017 Supplemental Annual Report form (“2017 Supplemental Report”) for licensees to complete.  That form, along with the Affidavit for Delayed Deposit Services Supplemental Annual Report (“Affidavit”), are available below. Upon completion, the 2017 Supplemental Report and the Affidavit must be submitted electronically for each license number to dob.consumerfinance@nebraska.gov, NO LATER THAN October 15, 2018.  In addition, the original Affidavit must also be mailed or delivered to the Department by the deadline.
