Learning, communication, technology, and finance merge to create the Digital Asset Examiner role at the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance. The Digital Asset Examiner role blends finance, legal analysis, and blockchain technology to create an innovative position. Individuals in this role perform complex analyses of financial statements, blockchain activities, and business practices relative to an established risk management framework for digital assets. Individuals also conduct examinations on digital asset depository institutions and digital asset depository departments analyzing for compliance with state and federal regulations.
