NDBF Issues FAQs on Crypto ATM Law
LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance (NDBF) has published a document to address frequently asked questions regarding the bipartisan Controllable Electronic Record Fraud Prevention Act (LB 609). The new law gives the NDBF, along with law enforcement officials, new tools to fight theft committed with the use of crypto kiosks. LB 609 is effective Sept. 2, 2025.
